(relevant video will go here)

This is NAME from LOCATION and they are currently a Specialist Support Volunteer.

In their own words, NAME will tell you more about how they help and what they get out of it!

What will you be doing?

As a Specialist Support Volunteer, you will work alongside other volunteer mentors and Trust colleagues providing short-term mentoring and guidance to young people or supporting Programme group sessions where expert knowledge, skills or experience (such as language, legal, financial, or sector expertise) is needed. Examples are supporting a young person as they work towards; accessing Prince’s Trust awards, moving into education or further training, securing suitable volunteering, work experience or employment, or as they set up and establish their own business.

As well as having great communication and mentoring skills, you will have specialist sector and/or professional expertise such as legal, financial, tax management, social media, IT, etc.

This role is relatively flexible depending on the needs of the child or young person, and could be remote or based in a hub – each opportunity will have particular details on what is expected.

Our commitment to you
