Salary: £25,400.00 to £30,200.00 dependent on experience

The Prince’s Trust is currently going through an exciting period of development. You will engage and build quality relationships with young people, volunteers and partners and as an effective communicator and collaborator, you will thrive in both team and independent work. To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to engage in challenges with optimism and resilience and be adaptive and flexible – embracing change and innovation.

 

Our Youth Development Leads provide 1:1 and group support for young people so need to already have experience in facilitating skills development in at least one of the following:

 

  • Social and personal development

  • Education sector

  • Employability/self-employment training

  • Partnership management

  • Digital skills training

 

We’d like to hear from candidates with a range of experience however we are particularly interested to hear from anyone with experience or interest in supporting young people with complex needs with significant barriers to employment.   

 

You will be a natural and effective communicator, passionate about delivering excellent customer service and making the right decision for young people. Working as part of a team within a defined geographical area, you will work with clear objectives to ‘connect’, ‘progress’ and help ‘transform’ the lives of young people who need us most. 

 

Due to the pandemic and ways of working you must be comfortable both working virtually and communicating on virtual platforms, however due to the face to face nature of our work we expect Service Delivery staff to work from our centres atleast 3 times a week.
