Salary: £20,300.00 to £23,000.00 

 

 

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our South Coast Hub as an Operations Executive working in and around the Southampton area.  Working on our Explore personal development programme we are looking for an experienced Youth Work practitioner who can build effective relationships with hard to engage young people aged 16 - 25. 

 

Although the role is home based you will be expected to deliver face to face sessions once restrictions allow.  With flexibility needed to travel around the Solent area as well as to support residential work once this resumes.

 

  • You will be experienced in delivering personal development sessions to groups of young people both face to face and virtually.  Will be skilled at building rapport quickly with those that require additional support to engage in positive activity. 

 

  • Be experienced at providing one to one support which focuses on goal setting and moving young people towards employment as well as managing a caseload.

 

  • You will be comfortable working in an outdoor, adventurous activities and residential environment with either NGB, Youth Work or Teaching qualifications.  You will also have experience in working in a multi-agency environment and building relationships with other organisations including undertaking outreach work

 

Alongside this you will also be confident with completing reports, risk assessments and other programme related paperwork.
